Bread Knives at The Restaurant Store
Perfect for cutting both hard and soft crusts, a bread knife is crafted with serrations upon a long blade (usually between 20 and 30cm) with a firm handle. A traditional long knife without serrations would crush the bread rather than cut it, but with a proper bread knife you can easily slice through the softest loaf to the hardest baguette. In addition to all types of bread, you can also use your bread knife to cut other food, including desserts, such as cakes and pies, as well as hard vegetables, including melons and pumpkins. This makes the bread knife one of the most versatile on the market.
