No need for open flames with this universal electric chafer heater designed to work with any chafing dish. The sprung loaded element maintains full contact with the chafer for efficient heat distribution. Two elements are required for a full size chafing dish. 2 power settings, 120watts & 230watts. Element is rated for 230watts, 1.1 amps .

The Castle Chafer (Pat Pending) is a waterless chafing dish that incorporates a high thermal diffusor in place of water The dish is fully insulated thus preserving heat at the food pan and avoiding loss to its surroundings. By incorporating a catalytic gas burner the unit is controllable from 70°C to 140°C and cannot be extuinguished by gust of wind. The Castle Chafer is also useable as a cold service, the addition of ise will keep the pan below 2°C for up to 7 hours. These effeciencies mean the Castle Chafer can reduce running cost compared to traditional chafers by up to 75%. By removing the water the Castle Chafer is also able to generate higher temperatures meaning no more cold breakfast complaints as it will keep food above 70°C even with the lid open.
